This Sweepstakes is open only to permanent legal residents of the 48 contiguous United States and the District of Columbia who are 18 years of age or older.

The Road Ahead Student Loan & Tuition Sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes”) starts at 2:00:00 p.m. Pacific Time on January 5, 2008 and ends at 11:59:00 p.m. Pacific Time on October 15, 2008. The sponsor of this sweepstakes is The Road Ahead, Inc. (“The Road Ahead”), 2683 Via De La Valle, Suite G #328, Del Mar, CA 92014 (the “Sponsor”). This sweepstakes shall be subject to these Official Rules, and by entering, all participants agree to be bound by the terms and conditions herein. This sweepstakes is void outside of the areas specified above and where prohibited by law.

HOW TO ENTER:

Simply purchase a copy of the DVD through the website, www.theroadaheadmovie.com; or, at other retail locations or websites that carry the movie on DVD. Each DVD copy of the movie comes with one sweepstakes entry ticket. If you do not wish to purchase a DVD of the movie, or if your DVD did not contain a sweepstakes entry ticket, you may obtain one entry ticket by mailing a hand printed self-addressed, stamped envelope to: The Road Ahead, 2683 Via De La Valle, Suite G #328, Del Mar, CA 92014. You must include a hand printed request, in blue ink, for an entry ticket to the sweepstakes. No photocopied, computer generated facsimiles, mechanically reproduced, or mass entries permitted. Any person submitting such materials will be disqualified from entry and may face legal action. There is no purchase necessary to enter or win this sweepstakes and a purchase will not improve your chances of winning. Purchasing a DVD may, however, increase the overall amount of the Grand Prize since the Grand Prize is partly determined by DVD unit sales in the form of one dollar ($1) from each DVD sold, limited to a maximum of one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000), going to the Grand Prize amount.

Once you have an entry ticket, go to www.theroadaheadmovie.com and follow the links to the sweepstakes entry page. Once at the sweepstakes entry page, follow the on-screen instructions, as well as the instructions on your entry ticket, to fill in the online entry form and submit it in accordance with the instructions. All information requested (other than that clearly designated as optional) must be provided or your entry will be disqualified.

Entries that are accompanied by orders are treated the same as entries not accompanied by orders. Only one (1) entry per person, household address and/or e-mail address will be accepted. All entries must be received by 11:59:00 p.m. Pacific Time on October 15, 2008. All entries submitted become the sole property of the Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned.

ELIGIBILITY:

To enter the sweepstakes, you must, at the time of entry, be a legal permanent resident of the 48 contiguous United States or the District of Columbia, and be 18 years of age or older. This sweepstakes is prohibited elsewhere and where restricted or prohibited by law. Entries received by persons outside of the eligible geographic regions or age requirements will be disqualified. To qualify for the Grand Prize in this sweepstakes, you must either: a) have eligible outstanding student loans; or, b) be a currently enrolled student at an eligible college or university and have remaining tuition fees to pay before graduating, net of any applicable financial aid. The Sponsor, in its sole discretion, will determine the eligibility of student loans, colleges, universities, and other programs, expenses, fees, and tuition for this sweepstakes. Employees, officers, producers, directors, actors and shareholders of the Sponsor or The Road Ahead, and members of their immediate families are not eligible to participate in this sweepstakes.

DRAWING AND NOTIFICATION:

One Grand Prize Winner will be selected in a random drawing on or about October 20, 2008. The Grand Prize amount will be awarded assuming a sufficient number of eligible entries are received. The odds of winning the Grand Prize depend on the number of valid entries received and cannot be determined at this time. The potential Grand Prize winner will be notified by telephone, mail, or email at the Sponsor’s discretion. If a potential Grand Prize winner cannot be contacted within seven (7) days from the first notification attempt, then such person will be disqualified and an alternate entrant will be selected from among all eligible entries received as a potential winner. If notifications are returned as “undeliverable”, this will result in disqualification and an alternate entrant may be selected as the Grand Prize winner. The Grand Prize winner will be required to execute and return an Affidavit of Eligibility, Release of Liability form, and a Publicity release within ten (10) days of notification. Failure to return all required forms in this ten (10) day time period may result in the Grand Prize winner being disqualified and, at the Sponsor’s sole discretion, an alternate winner being selected. The Sponsor is under no obligation to pick an alternate winner if the Grand Prize winner is disqualified, for any reason. In the event multiple persons claim the same entry, then the Sponsor will determine the rightful entrant from the authorized information provided on the entry form; or, if this can’t be determined, then all involved persons will be disqualified and an alternate winner may be selected.

GRAND PRIZE:

The Grand Prize amount will be partially calculated by the number of DVD units sold from 2:00:00 p.m. Pacific Time on January 5, 2008 to 11:59:00 p.m. Pacific Time on December 31, 2008 (the “Calculation Period”). The second part of the Grand Prize calculation will be determined by the amount of the Grand Prize winner’s student loans or tuition, if any. The Sponsor will determine, at its sole discretion, the validity of the grand prize winner’s student loans or tuition, including applicable financial aid, and the final Grand Prize Amount. Private loans, including private student loans, credit cards, and other loans or debt which are not college tuition related, as defined by the Sponsor, are not qualified for this sweepstakes and are not part of the Grand Prize amount. The actual value of the Grand Prize will vary from one dollar ($1) to one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000); the Grand Prize has no approximate retail value.

The Grand Prize amount will be equal to the lesser of one dollar ($1) for each DVD unit sold during the calculation period, or the Grand Prize winner’s eligible student loans or tuition; up to a maximum of one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000).

If the Grand Prize winner has eligible outstanding student loans, the Grand Prize amount will be paid directly to the authorized and accredited lending institution for the student loans.

If the Grand Prize winner is a currently enrolled college student and has remaining eligible tuition fees to pay, the grand prize amount will be paid directly to the accredited university or college for the purposes of eligible tuition only, net of any financial aid already received by the Grand Prize winner.

If the Grand Prize winner is a currently enrolled college student with remaining tuition fees to pay and has outstanding student loan balances already accumulated, then the Grand Prize amount will be applicable only to the remaining eligible tuition and the student loans will be disallowed.

Under no circumstances will the Grand Prize money be paid directly to the Grand Prize winner or any other individual(s). In no event will the Grand Prize amount be greater than one dollar ($1) multiplied by the number of DVD units sold during the calculation period.

The eligible number of DVD units sold, to be included in the Grand Prize calculation, include only those sold by The Road Ahead, Inc., through its efforts in distributing the DVD either through its website or other retail outlets. The Sponsor will make this calculation on its own merits and at its sole discretion and the Sponsor is under no obligation to perform or agree to third-party auditing.

GENERAL:

The odds of winning the Grand Prize depend on the number of valid entries received and cannot be determined at this time. The approximate retail value of the Grand Prize is zero dollars ($0), due to the fact that no money is paid to an individual, no services are provided, and it is non-transferable. The actual value of the Grand Prize will vary from one dollar ($1) to one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000), depending on several factors as described in the Official Rules. The ultimate value of the Grand Prize cannot be determined until the completion of the Calculation Period. By entering this sweepstakes entrants affirm that they have read and accepted these Official Rules. This sweepstakes shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States. By entering this sweepstakes, entrants hereby submit to the jurisdiction and venue of the federal and state courts of the United States and waive the right to have disputes arising out of the subject matter hereof adjudicated in any other forum.

All federal, state and local tax liabilities arising from winning or entering this sweepstakes, if any, are the responsibility of the entrants and Grand Prize winner. Acceptance of a prize constitutes permission (except where prohibited) to use the winner’s name, likeness, picture, voice, biographical information and statements for publicity, advertising, and promotional purposes in any and all media known now or hereafter discovered, worldwide and on the Internet, without additional compensation or limitation of any kind. Entry in this sweepstakes constitutes consent to the transfer of the personal information collected from the entrant to the Sponsor for the purposes of administering the sweepstakes. The Sponsor will not share the personal information of the entrants, except for the Grand Prize winner as outlined above, with any other third party.

LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY:

The Sponsor, The Road Ahead Inc., and their respective officers, directors, producers, shareholders, employees, and agents, and any and all Internet server(s) and access provider(s), and each of their respective advertising and promotional agencies, and all of their officers, directors, shareholders, employees and agents, are not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate entry information; human errors; technical malfunctions; failures, omissions, interruptions, deletions, or defects of any network, computer system, online access, equipment, servers, or software, including without limitation any injury or damage to participant’s or any other person’s computer relating to or resulting from participation in the sweepstakes; inability to access the Entry Site or any web pages thereof; theft, tampering, destruction, or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries; data that is processed late or incorrectly or is incomplete or lost due to computer or electronic malfunction or traffic congestion or the Internet or any website, including the Entry Site, or for any other reason whatsoever; typographical, printing or other errors; or any combination thereof. The movie website (also the Entry Site), located on the internet at www.theroadaheadmovie.com, shall not be liable for any difficulty, technical or otherwise, in finding the sweepstakes entry page or in submitting an entry to the sweepstakes. Proof of entering information at the Entry Site is not considered proof of delivery or receipt. The Sponsor is not liable or responsible for any confusion, errors, or omissions, in the Official Rules. Illegible, incomplete, false, fraudulent, deceptive, mechanically reproduced and duplicate entries from any one (1) person or e-mail address will be disqualified. If it is determined that a person intentionally attempted to defraud and/or disable the sweepstakes by submitting such invalid entries, then legal action will be pursued against that person and any other person(s) who assisted in such action.

Expenses related to entering or winning this sweepstakes are the sole responsibility of entrants and Grand Prize winner. The Grand Prize is not transferable, nor can it be redeemed for cash, or assigned to another person or entity. The Sponsor reserves the right to modify, terminate, or suspend this sweepstakes if it is found that causes such as viruses, non-authorized human intervention, actions of certain entrants, or other causes outside the reasonable control of the Sponsor corrupt, disable, or impair the proper play and fairness of this sweepstakes. The Sponsor reserves the right to select a winner by conducting a random drawing from those eligible entries received up to the termination and/or suspension date. The Sponsor may, at its sole discretion, substitute an alternate prize if this sweepstakes is tampered with, an eligible winner cannot be found, or if the sweepstakes is damaged or disabled in some manner.

The Sponsor will disqualify any entrant if, in its sole discretion, it determines that said entrant has violated these Official Rules or has threatened or is attempting to undermine the legitimate operation of this sweepstakes.

This sweepstakes may terminate early if the associated movie, The Road Ahead, is acquired by a third party such as a distributor, studio, or other company for the purposes of transferring ownership from the current owners to the acquirer. If this were to occur then the Sponsor may select a winner from a random drawing from those eligible entries received up to the termination date and the Grand Prize amount will be calculated by the Sponsor, up to the termination date, and the sweepstakes as well as the calculation period would cease at that time.

To view the Official Rules for this sweepstakes or an announcement of the winner (winners list), please visit www.theroadaheadmovie.com during the sweepstakes period. The winner will be posted after the sweepstakes period, drawing of Grand Prize winner, and confirmation of eligibility of Grand Prize winner has taken place; but no later than December 31, 2008 if an eligible winner is found by that time.

Any attempt by an entrant to deliberately damage the website or undermine the legitimate operation of this sweepstakes may be in violation of criminal and civil laws and The Road Ahead, Inc. reserves the right to seek remedies and damages, including attorney’s fees, from any such entrant to the fullest extent of the law, including criminal prosecution.
